Fun Friend Night

So, Ben and I decided that we wanted to have friends over and play games on Sat night. We invited some of the funnest, greatest people we know and had a blast. Love to you all!

Andrew and Luke. Luke was perfectly content to watch Monsters Inc on our iMac while we played upstairs. He is seriously the chillest child ever! We love him!

DOGGIES

Yes, we don't have children, and Yes, I know we need to. It's when we take pictures of our dogs playing in the leaves, that this become painfully clear to me. But hey, we were excited to see how they'd do.

The Great Dissapointment... aka BYU Football

Ben got awesome tickets from his work to go to the game against TCU. We had a pretty good idea that we were going to lose, but had no idea it was going to be THAT badly. However, the Legacy seats that we sad it made up for the bad game. We got mini coolers with blue kettle corn and water in it, and also coupons for free drinks and cougar tails! The seats were the fourth row on the 40 yard line! AMAZING!! Here are some pictures. It had poured the whole day, but let up for the game.

Happy Anniversary

Ben and I always celebrate our first date on Homecoming weekend. This is because, although the date isn't the same, our first date was the homecoming game. Every year we have gone to the game, and this year, we went to a dinner and show at BYU with some friends. Thanks Brynn and Stacy for the awesome idea!

Andrea's Baby Shower

My friend Andrea is having her second baby, a GIRL finally, and we are all so excited about it. She works at Red Robin with me, and although she had a "ward" baby shower, we decided that wasn't good enough, and that she needed a "work" baby shower. So me and Emily threw together around 80 sugar cookies, 75 cupcakes, grasshopper cookies, rice krispie treats, punch, and garden pizzas (all home made mind you) and had all the Red Robin girls, past and present come.

It was so much fun and we loved hanging out and talking, (without getting into trouble for ignoring our tables)

Most of all we are so excited for Andrea's new little one, and can't wait for her to come! Just one more week!!

We are sad that Andrea will be gone for a little while, but we're happy for her at the same time! Who wouldn't want a 3 month break from Red Robin?

Missonary

Ben and I were fortunate enough to be the ones with his brother Eric his last few days before he went on his mission to Argentina.

Eric came down and we all went out to dinner, Ben and I said "ANYWHERE" thinking more Tocanos, but Eric wanted to go to Los Hermanos (a local Mexican restaurant) so since he was the boss... we went.

The next day we ran errands in Salt Lake, getting shoes and stuff for the mission, but we first went to the Salt Lake Temple for a session, which I had never done. It was such a beautiful temple, and even more so knowing all the effort it took the Pioneers to make it extra special.

Although they were dragging their feet, I did get a few pictures at the temple. I had my camera out when I dropped Eric off at the MTC, especially for Mom Louise, but he grabbed his bags and said, "See ya!" before he took off up the hill. I guess he was a little anxious. :)

It's weird to think about two years going by and how life could be different. Ben will be almost 30! ha ha! What an old man. :)
