Hawaii or Bust.

So... I'm trying to figure out what to blog about and I thought, 'I haven't said anything about going to Hawaii.' So in case you don't know, Ben and I are going with my sister Melissa and her husband Kirk to Hawaii! We've never been, and Melissa and Kirk have both been many many MANY times. We figured that who better go with than pros at the island. We are very excited to be staying where we are, above is a picture of the view from where we are staying. We are very excited and we leave a couple of days after graduation. The only down side is that it is making getting to April all the harder and I'm dying to get there!!

Ben and I have been thinking a lot about having children lately, when to have them and we want to make sure it is for the right reasons. We don't want to have a baby because everyone says that we should, or because we are bored and think that it is the next step. We want to have a baby because it is the right thing for us to do. For us. Anyways, this blog isn't about babies, we are going to be traveling a lot lately before we have children and so we're thinking this fall... Europe. So, here's the question; If you've been to Europe, where do you suggest we go. One Main city, like Paris, London or Rome. What do you think?

Well, I am definitely the Hawaii expert. Should've invited ME. =) Just kidding! You are going to have so much fun!

And Europe. Oh man. It's so hard. Both types of European vacations are great. If you don't think you'll get over again anytime soon, I might recommend seeing lots of different places. You'd be tired and rushed, but it would be amazing to see at least parts of France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland...whatever areas you're most interested in. If you feel like having a slower type of vacation where you can really get to know a city and immerse yourself in the European lifestyle, maybe just pick two cities and really get to know them. I LOVED Paris and would love to spend a lot of time there to really feel it. Both types of trips would be awesome!

I think your Europe trip just depends on how much time you are going to spend there. A week? I'd say do Rome. If you are going to do longer than that, do as much as you can, who knows when you'll go back. I like your blog by the way! :)
