Well, Graduation is OVER and what a day it was. Ceremony was WAY too early in the morning (8am) but we made it through. Mom, Dad and LeAnne and Jay went to the Bookstore while Ben and I tried to track down the few Broadcasting people that were still hanging around, which weren't many. Ben and I said Hi to the teacher whose class we met in, and then went home. Well, we figured the family would be home by then, but no. So Ben and I were locked out of the house for a good 30 minutes. Fortunately, our neighbors Stacy and Peirce were home and played some nice music that we listened to while we waited.
The Whole family went out to lunch at the Macaroni Grill, and we all got very full and sleepy. They day ended with a movie, the Soloist, and saying goodbye to Ben's parents and brother Eric. Mom and Dad went up to Logan the next day to see Jay and LeAnne and the kids. Wait, I should probably rephrase that. Mom and Dad went up to see the kids, where Jay and LeAnne were also! :) Who can blame them, those kids are too cute for words.
Mom and Dad gave me a beautiful picture/painting of the Sacred Grove that will go in an undetermined location, and Jason and LeAnne gave me an awesome frame for my diploma with the BYU Crest and Emblem on it and a Willow Tree statue of a girl holding a book. There is no better dipiction of me. I am so grateful for all of my family that was able to come, and missed all those who couldn't.
Graduation sparks a lot of questions that are coming to mind... and we will see what the future brings us next. Whatever it is, it is sure to be a great adventure. We head off to Hawaii tomorrow, Pierce and Stacy to Puerto Rico for two months (we will miss them terribly) and then the job hunt begins, officially.
